Course Title: Refresher
TSM Training Solutions will deliver this course under a third-party agreement with APS Training Group RTO#31588. APS Training Group is the registered training organisation that issues the nationally recognised Statement of Attainment when a student has been deemed competent in a course.
HOW IS THE TRAINING DELIVERED?
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
- Provide current Photo Identification.
- Have a USI# before Enrolment.
- Be able to possess adequate Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills.
- Current S11 induction within the last 5 years.
COURSE OVERVIEW:
This course will Refresh your mining knowledge. The S11 Refresher will teach you the essentials required to keep current within the Coal Mining Industry.
COURSE OUTLINE:
This course covers all units under the S11 Skill Set.
YOU WILL LEARN TO:
This includes but not limited to:
- Applying planning and organising skills to the risk management processes.
- Identifying or sourcing criteria to determine unacceptable risk.
- Identifying and recognising type and scope of hazards and their impact.
- Assessing and determining the consequence, likelihood and level of potential risk.
- Identifying unacceptable risk using the acceptable/unacceptable criteria.
- Assessing options for appropriate controls and implementing accordingly.
- Identifying and obtaining required resources.
- Preparing and maintaining written records and report requirements.
- Reviewing risk management documentation.
- Identifying and recommending controls.
- Contributing to the implementation of controls
ASSESSMENTS:
Assessments will be undertaken 100% online.
COURSE DURATION:
This course will be conducted online in your time.
LICENSING REGULATION:
Load shifting equipment (other than a Forklift) are no longer required to have a licence, however an operator must still be deemed competent.
QUALIFICATION OUTCOME:
Successful students receive a "Statement of Attainment", which is recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
